"You are amazing at what you do!! Not only do I feel better (more energy and vitality) but I actually look physically better - brighter, younger and glowing skin; even my hair feels better!!! People ask me what cosmetic line I use to make my skin so bright…I tell them I barely use cosmetics; it’s my nutrition plan that allows me to not only feel but look my healthy best! My personal glow! Physically, with the use of your cleansing detox program and supplements specifically identified to support my metabolism and problem areas, all of my sugar cravings have completely vanished and my weight is declining. I went from a size 12 snug back to a size 10 comfortable and now I am aiming for a size 8." |
About Dr. Julie Walsh As a woman, I know something about you. You want to feel beautiful. That’s why you wear makeup, go to the spa, get a new handbag, or have your nails done. Women like to feel beautiful. Let’s talk for a second about beauty. On one hand you have imbalanced beauty, which I define as looking great on the outside but feeling awful on the inside. If you’re not sure what I mean, take a trip to the shopping mall. Who do you see there? What are they buying? I’ll save you a trip and tell you. You’ll see women buying things for themselves to make them feel better – clothes, shoes, makeup, accessories. How often have you or one of your friends gone shopping when you weren’t feeling so good? This is how the term “retail therapy” was born. But the truth is, new shoes won’t help you in the gym A new pair of slimming black pants aren’t going to help you lose those stubborn pounds. New makeup isn’t going to correct your problem skin. That delicious pedicure may cheer you up for a while, but your PMS will return. Now don’t get me wrong, I love purchases and pampering just as much as the next girl, but they’re not a solution to feeling beautiful. The solution to feeling beautiful is in balance. Balanced beauty is looking great on the outside because you feel great on the inside. Who do you know that feels great, has a boatload of energy, and an insatiable zest for life? They are stunning. A matter of fact, you could dress them in a paper bag and they would still be gorgeous. Why? Because oodles of glorious healthiness is emanating from their pores. Do you know anyone that has recently lost weight? Don’t they look amazing? The dark circles and bags that were under their eyes have vanished. Their skin is bright, their hair shines, and they are smiling. Losing weight happens on the inside when the body begins to work properly, yet when we lose weight we look better on the outside. Hormone balance occurs inside of us, but appearance and mood improve on the outside Now compare the two – imbalanced and balanced beauty. We all inherently know that feeling beautiful doesn’t lie in surgeries, lotions, or purchases. These approaches are a quick fix that does not offer a long term solution. The ultimate solution is balance, and that’s where I come in. As a Naturopathic Physician, I am personally dedicated to helping motivated women achieve the inner and outer beauty they desire – balanced beauty. My philosophy is one of clean living, healthy eating, and activity. If you aren’t doing those three things, balance will not be in your near future. The foundation of my practice is Naturopathic Medicine. My approach emphasizes functional laboratory testing and scientifically validated nutritional strategies to help women discover and overcome the underlying reasons preventing optimal health. I graduated from the University of Bridgeport with a doctorate degree as a Naturopathic Physician and hold a national board certification in Naturopathic Medicine. The state of Maryland does not currently license Naturopathic Physicians therefore; I do not diagnose or treat disease. Rather, I focus on nutritionally supporting and strengthening the body in order to help you achieve the highest state of health.
